2025 SLF Conference in St Albans
Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM · £40.00 GBP · 5 rsvps · St Pauls Church in St Albans, United Kingdom
We can confirm that Daisy Cooper MP, Victoria Collins MP, Bobby Dean MP, Pippa Heylings MP and Josh Babarinde MP will be our headline speakers for the SLF conference on the 19th July.
We intend to look at the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for social liberalism. With the decline of Labour and the Tories, the emergence of far right nationalism under the guise of Reform, where does liberalism fit it into the future of our politics?
Alternative Realities is the theme of the conference. There should objectively only be one reality but increasingly political parties and voters - with the rise of populism - are dividing into different perceptions of how to make sense of the world. What impact will that have and what can be done about it?
The cost of the ticket includes the cost of the catering provided by local St Alban's party chair Harriet Sherlock. Vegan options will be available. Please advise if you have any special requirements by emailing [email protected]
We have found a superb venue for this conference, St Paul's church has excellent facilities including wheelchair access.
It is on Blandford Road a 10 minute walk from the train station.
