A Vision for Liberal Democrats
Developing a clearer liberal identity, deeper political purpose and a more compelling vision of the society the Liberal Democrats seek to build.
Overview
This project is about helping to define a clearer and more compelling vision for the Liberal Democrats: one that is rooted in liberal values, speaks to the everyday concerns of citizens, and explains more clearly the kind of society the party wants to build.
It brings together questions of identity, purpose and democratic renewal, and asks how modern liberalism can respond to growing public disillusionment, political insecurity and the wider challenge of populism. The aim is to contribute to a vision that is principled, relevant and easy to understand.
