The SLF has a small number of signed copies of this recent book by LSE academic Daniel Chandler, which are available for purchase by SLF members.
The book was introduced at the Bournemouth Conference at a fringe meeting addressed by Daniel and LibDem Treasury spokesperson Sarah Olney MP. We sold out of the copies we had there and met further orders after the Conference.
Daniel is a Social Liberal and the book sets out the underlying social liberal philosophy of American philosopher John Rawls before going on to address major policy issues in the light of that philosophy. It is essential reading for anyone interested in 21st century Social Liberalism and how it applies practically to today’s policy choices.
The book is published by Penguin Random House. Copies will be sent to the first 15 members to order the book.
