Social Liberal Forum Annual Conference 2018

Now in its eighth year, the Social Liberal Forum continues to attract the top names in politics to speak about and debate the relevant issues of the day.

The Beveridge Memorial lecture was given by Layla Moran MP and can be read here.

Kate Pickett will be talking about regional inequality and doing signings for her new book, The Inner Level.

Layla Moran MP will give the Annual Beveridge Memorial Lecture.

Ed Davey MP will be talking about energy and climate change.

Caron Lindsay and Baroness Kishwer Falkner will join with Layla Moran and Lucy Salek to talk about “What next for UK politics in a Post-Brexit World”.

Housing expert, Alex Marsh, will be talking about housing following the publication of the Government Green Paper on Social Housing due on 24 July.

Former MP David Howarth will join a panel of economic experts to discuss “A New Economics”.

Full price: £40
Concessions: £15
Youth (under 26): £10

You may book at the Concession rate if one of these applies:

  • You are in full-time education
  • You are receiving state benefits due to being unemployed, the dependent spouse of an unemployed person, or you are on income support
  • If your main source of income is the state pension
  • If you are wageless or on a low income

You may book at the Youth rate if you are under the age of 26.

The Concession and Youth rate are offered on an 'honour system' basis - we do not ask for proof of eligibility.

However, the Concession and Youth rates are loss-making for us so we ask conference-goers to please only select the reduced rate tickets if the criteria genuinely apply to you. Thank you.
